The ‘Dare2Win’ series of online slots from royal casino:Hacksaw Gaming made up just a tiny fraction of the developer’s output until a short while ago. I’m not sure which was the standout hit that changed all that – Cubes & Cubes 2 were great games, but then so was their pachinko-based ‘Plinko’ (yes, I know I probably have that kind of backward!) But I have an alternative theory on that one – stick around for the theme section of this review if you’re keen to hear more on that one! In the meantime, fans of the Dare2Win line of alternative gambling games will likely be eager to learn about Lines 96% RTP – on par with the majority of standard online slots – along with the maximum jackpot prize of 5,000ꦇx the total bet.
Explaining the feature sets of some of these games can be a tricky task – many of the Dare2Win games are based on ancient gambling game concepts, some of which date back to the times of the Pharaohs or perhaps even when Jesus Christ himself was throwing the odd Dinar at the wall whilst he was at school. What’s that you say? Blasphemy? I’m not sure I know the word; can you explain it to me a little bit, please? In the case of lines, the object is amazingly simple – possibly on par with Hacksaw’s recent Hi-Lo card game – in that you pick positions on up to three lines, and you’ll need to bear the odds on all of your active lines to have their payouts multiplied together and your prize paid. Yup – it really is that simple!
Ever heard the old question – how long is a piece of string? Well, Hacksaw wants you to ask yourself how long is a line. Why not take a look at our free demo of Lines and see if you can answ🔯er this age-old mind-bender of a question…? You might even be able to collect a cool five grand i🎶n the process!

So just what is the reason for the recent flood of new games in the Dare2Win series? For my money, I’m going to take a little guess that it could have been the popularity of the developer’s recent royal casino:Mines game that started all of this off. Mines was ess🌳entially a gambling-based version of Minesweeper – yes, that Minesweeper – and you may well be surprised to learn that that game has seen something of a surge in popularity in recent years, with competitive Minesweeper contests being a massive hit with fans of game-streaming website Twitch.
So, how much can you win whilst playing Lines? Leaving the default of just one line active will result in a possible win of 1.05x to 24x the total bet – that small gap at the bottom of the range is designed to stop players from enabling all three possible lines and setting the odds to the lowest possible denominators – this is necessary to keep the RTP at 96%. Once you enable the second line, things become a lot more complex – leave line two at the lowest possible setting (and the top line to its maximum possible setting), and you end up with a bet multiplier of 48.97x. Drag the lower bar up to its massive setting now, and things soon begin to get interesting – you can now reach a win of up to 2,400x the total bet! With the third bar enabled and set to its minimum level, you can win 2,448.97x your bet – some clear patterns are emerging with those numbers by the way, if you look carefully! The maximum win brings a little issue, however – you can’t pull all three lines up to their maximum values, as this would result in a win of 120,000x - far higher than the game’s top limit of 5,000x. ꦜYou’ll need to change the se꧑ttings of one or more of your lines to accommodate this before the game lets you play.
As for the betting range, you’ve got minimum/maximum limits of €0.10 and €100.00 per round, respectively. This is plenty enough for a strange little table-style game such as Lines, and I doubt many players will fin🦂d themselves troubled by the low number of allowed wagers tow꧃ards the piper end.

Lines Gameplay
In all fairness, I’ve probably described all the most important elements of how Lines works in the payouts paragraph of the previous section. It’s possibly worth adding that some auto modes can be played with here, which will probably be popular with players – I can’t imagine anybody enjoying a title such as this under UKGC-like conditions that prohibit fast or repeated rounds.
You can choose to play between 10 and 1,000 rounds in a row automatically – the exact number you would likely want to pick is probably going to depend on your choices for the other settings. These include the loss limit – 5x, 20x, or 50x are offered as default choices, and there’s also a custom option as well. Of course, n💛o matter h🤡ow much you are betting, nobody ever truly wants to run into their pre-set loss limit!
No, I suspect that the single win limit will be much more likely used by players – the defaults are quite modest, just like the loss limits – at just 10x, 20x, or 75x the total bet. A custom option is also available, and I’d probably be going for a single hit of 1,000x if I was playing this game for real money. I’d then assess my situation at that stage – unfortunately, I suspect I would probably have run out of money long before I got there!
lines bonus features
I'm afraid there are no bonus rounds or special features included in Lines!
Pros
This type of game proved very popular at early crypto-based online casinos, but this is the first time I’ve seen it available for many years now. This could make the game reasonably nostalgic for some!
Cons
It’s a very simple concept – like most of the Dare2Win games, you probably won’t want to play Lines for very long per session.
It’s easy to lose a lot of money very quickly in games such as this – the sheer number of possible outcomes presented in an online slot somehow manages to skew the gameplay for me personally, making traditional slots feel much more fun than this type of simple gambling game.
Final Thoughts
There’s no denying that Lines is fun – and even a little addictive, for a while at least. You will get tired of it quickly though, and the truth is that there are already better games in this franchise.
